Easter is a special time of year celebrated in many different ways around the world.
Come on a WebQuest journey to find out how and why Australians celebrate Easter.

The Task
You will be asked to write a short report on the origins of Easter.
Find an Easter recipe that you would like to make and print off.
Design and print an Easter flyer that you would like to send to a friend.
Write a narrative about how Australians celebrate Easter.
The Process
1. Log onto The Origins of Easter and read the text.
Open up a word document and write a short summary of the information you have read.
2. Log onto Easter Recipes and choose your favourite recipe and print off a copy for your portfolio.
3. Log onto Easter Flyer and create your favourite card. Insert your text in the boxes provided and print off.
(If the text doesn't appear on the printed flyer add your own message by hand)
4. Log onto Australian Easter and read the text. Look especially at the stories written by children.
Open up a word document and write a narrative about how an Australian family would celebrate Easter.
